hi qorax, we are waiting for our pp to be back with visa since last week of june 2012. its been nearly 4 months then. we shoot a query in our vo (cem) last first week of oct that our file is in queue. and now we are surprised to received email from them again saying:

Dear (name of applicant)

As part of your preparations for going to Canada, don't forget to register for a free pre-departure orientation seminar offered by CIIP in Manila. Register now at: https://www.newcomersuccess.ca
blah blah blah....

actually we decided to attend ciip if we have visa on our hand. and until now we dont have the visa yet. our pp is still with them.

now we decided to call ciip for our schedule.

is this normal? i mean do the visa section of cem always email applicant to attend ciip? i didnt read such like this here in this forum.

does that mean that our visa is nearly to stamped?

thanks in advance

VERY CONFUSING QUESTION

1. Provide details of your personal history since the age of 18 or the past 10 years whichever comes first. So if i am 35 now should i give details from the age of 25(i.e past 10 years) or age of 18?
Please advise.

Dear Friends and experts; since last week I couldn't check my status online, the system is taking me through to a different page after Log In and not anymore to Status Page, is there anyone here who is experiencing the same issue?? Please let me know...

Dear Qorax,

If I am at the stage where I'm waiting for my Passport request, can my application be refused due to not being able to obtain the Indian PCC despite my efforts, I have already requested my VO for a 'waiver' still waiting to hear from them. I'm even hoping they call me for an interview but I DO NOT want my application to be rejected at this stage. What do you think?

Please please reply, I'm really panicking and my lawyer won't respond or assist me on this because he has already sent a waiver request before and they asked for it again

Sir Qorax and seniors

Dear Freinds

Would you please advise if the line " Medical results have been received " in e-cas means that medical results are OK or still there is a chance for re-medical or furtur medical request?

I received the above mentioned line in my e-cas after 1 week that our medical results received by Visa Office

regards

Dear Qorax

Can I write a self declaration letter and get it signed by the notary public instead of obtaining the PCC. Because there in no way left for me?

All the best

It'd make no difference. Ask ur Attorney instead to submit a detailed waiver letter, again, with "Summary of Evidence"(?) -don't worry, he'd know.

Extremely happy to share with you that today we received our passports back after stamping. Would like to thank you all for the tons of useful information shared through this forum. Special thanks to the senior members who spend time to clarify and assist fellow members to achieve the final goal.

We are planning our landing on 13th November, booked Air France ticket to Toronto and arranged accommodation in Studio 6, Mississauga. All preferred guest houses were fully booked and Studio 6 was the best option for us - they have a mini kitchen inside, with kids it was a necessity for us.

regards,

JMJJ
