Or better u don't change at all, b'coz USDs r going at par here... u'd be able to do all purchases with USDs itself, everywhere.

Guys i need Urgent Help regarding Driving License,
I had my driving license issued from Dubai, In dubai the name of license they put included my Fathers Name between my First name and Surname, infact they did not put my surname at all, now the name on the driving license does not match with Passport, The drive test now wants me to get a letter to certify that my name on driving license and passport are of the same person, Should i get letter from Indian Consulate or from UAE embassy in Ottawa, Please guys urgent help required if anybody faced this and found the solution>>

Guys you would not belive weird thing happen today regarding above post, I went to Indian counsalate but they refused to issue letter, and then i was all ready to go to UAE embassy in Ottawa, but out of curosity went to different drivetest centre just to try and guess what they accepted all the documents , no mention of diffrence of name came up and i was in and out in 30 minutes with yellow paper, I just cant imagine what has just happened.........., but a suggestion to all members make sure that name on you UAE DL is same as your passport, if not then go to RTA and change the name on DL, Now.................. Best of Luck

Sent a CSE 2 days ago, 6.5 weeks after Meds & RPRF were received at LVO. Got a short reply from my IO yesterday saying: '... Medicals for one member of your family is awaited to be assessed'.

Wondering what it means! Do they not check the whole set of meds attached to one app altogether?

First check with ur DMP whether thy send all, second, send email to IO saying DMP has send all reports with dates received in CHC,
Things will be cleared

Do you have receipts from your medical tests? Keep them just in case. Be in contact with your DMP,ask if they forgot to send meds of anyone. Ask VO if they`ve received meds of all members from DMP or if they have to receive them from VO`S medical section.

Hi everyone

Got passport request today .

Had a doubt, have to fill in the updated information chart. The given name mentioned in my passport is my surname and in the surname section , the word surname is striked off and my given name is written. Basically, I feel the guy just wrote my name in one flow and striked off the surname for his own convenience, looks like that .

I had sent an email to LVO and told them that my first n last names were switched , so they corrected that.

Now when I fill in this information chart should I stick to my actual given name and last name or how it is in the passport coz they have mentioned in the form that write the names as mentioned in the passport exactly.

What to do ???
Also as what I know, there is no need to send the old or expired passport , right?

I just sent a CSE yesterday with this request info:

1. Ijust sent all the requirements to add my son to our application,my consultant says they already dispatch the papers. I just want to ask if the visa office received it or not because Ive been asking them any akcnowledgement letter whatsoever they dont reply.
2. How soon can I get my MR? My ecas status is IN Process since March 20,2012? Thank you.

I received an email from them telling me this.

Why do i have to send it in Sydney office?my papers are in their Office? really cofuse about it.
