Dear Seniors,

I had receive reply from London Visa Office, which is as follow:

Further to your email, please be advised that your medical results have been assessed and are valid until 01-04-2013.

Your file is now awaiting the initiation of background checks. We will be in contact with further information once these are complete.

Yours sincerely,

Please guide me.

Hi Nadeem,

Have you paid your RPRF? Seniors could advise better but this could be your security/criminality check.

Good luck!

I landed in Vancouver few days back and i might post later my complete experience; I just wanted to warn every one about the high treatment cost in Canada. Buying a medical insurance can't be overemphasized in provinces which need three months for medical card processing "such as BC".
The Captain was right; everyone should strongly consider having such a plan before landing. I say that because on our second day in Vancouver we had an unfortunate event; my wife and my daughter were injured in a car crash and were admitted to the hospital. They are allowed to leave the hospital now but the hospital bill was too expensive. I wish you all a safe landing.

Dear Qorax and seniors,

My consultant received an email from CHC regards my DD. i have applied last 09 and on the email they said my DD was not encash and returned to the bank. Now my question is should i issue a new DD? And what will happen to the previous one i sent?
Pls adv as they have given me only 3 weeks to finalize.
Thanks in advance

Hi hondubai,

Am sorry to know the unfortunate accident in which your wife and daughter got involved. Hope they are OK and recovering well!

Before that, I was shocked to know that you had to face lot of hardship/s because you forgot COPR docs and had to rush back to Dubai from Cairo only to retrieve them before your onward journey to Canada! Must be quite chaotic and stressful. What a nightmare! What travails have you encountered! Utterly regretful! You must write here for others to learn from your experience.

Are you back, as I know that you were there only for a week?

Best Wishes!

Bestpal

Many thanks Vish2012!

How about your RPRF encashment? Did it get cashed before you received your PPR and how long after it was sent? Also, was it requested with meds?

Cheers.

MIK

Hi sorry I was not keeping track of that. It's my agent who have send the cheques.

Thanks
Vish

Well did they to mention in the email to issue a new one? well my draft was returned by London visa office with my medical request , so I made a new one and submitted again. I too had sent my draft of CAD 550 initially with my application in 2009.

Maybe sending a CSE will help , if your case status shows 'in process'. By the way in which stage are you right now ? Medicals done or waiting?

Dear Hondubai,

Sorry to hear about the accident. I hope and pray that your wife and daughter are doing fine. It must be hard to face such an event at a new place but I hope they recover soon. Well Wishes for your family bro.
