Pls donot translate the same in English from UAE as it is not accepted in Canada.
I had to go thru the same process in Sharjah and still had to get the letter translated from a Legal Translator in Mississauga for my license.
So plssss dont waste ur money in UAE. When you go to apply for DL in Canada, they will give you some names of Legal Translators.

In my 6-12 months waiting letter, at the end they said

"All irreplaceable orginal documents, which were not obtained for the purpose of submitting on application for immigration, are being returned to you."


I had submitted earlier to London VO my orginal transcripts including my wife in 2 separated university sealed envelope. But while getting this letter, tehy didn't send those orginal transcripts.

Is this normal or shall i ask them as they didn't send those but they mentioned in the letter.

Hi Seniors/Gurus,

I have shuffled my funds for better returns. I hope this will not affect or complicate the process of Immigration.

Earlier I have funds in 3 banks & after that (6 months back) , I moved it to 1 bank further splitting in FD & so on.

Hi, Till such time you can prove that you have had unincumbered funds with you in an account under your name for six months it is no problem. Catch is the defination of unincumbered, some people consider that Mutual Funds , FD's, treasory notes as funds not being un incumbered, but some people consider that FD's are OK, I however did not want to take a chance and kept liquid cash in account. Missed out on intrest for 7 months , but atleast did not any hassle or risk. Also make sure that you do not have loan and or line of credit assosiated with account in which you are planning to show as POF. Also the statement should not show any recurring deductions for apyment of any outstanding loan,and or any sudden withdrawl and or deposit. I had seprated my Salary account from the account which i kept as POF, I opened an offshore Dollar account , and showed the POF ( Prrof of Funds) in USD.OTher users might want to comment on the acceptibility of Fixed Deposits as POF....

I have seperate salary account and its separate than the other account (which has FD, saving account,etc).

I don't have any loans/ or EMI appearing in that account & it is clean account.

Since it will take further 6 to 12 months, I want to maximize the return and the funds are transferred in same account with FD.

So I hope this should work out.

Hi,

Usually, the original transcripts r not returned. It's only the original degrees, marriage certs. & birth cert. which'd be given back, if u've submitted, which in any case u should not.

i m retunig to this forum after a while. I ma so happy to see that u r still around and helping us out. I kind of lost of hope for getting the PR until today when i decided to view my application status on CIC website. I am excited to see what is written there. Dont know if i should be happy and to clarify it i honestly need your guidance here. Please see below what is mentioned under my application status:
"We received your application for permanent residence on May 12, 2010.


We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on September 28, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.


Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.


Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 3, 2012. "

buddy, its not necessary tht VO will call for an interview (if u applied in FSW) it depends case to case. He/she might send u PPR after 90-120 days

No worries , u can update ur POF with ur FD certificate copies , (i did the same b4)
