But most of the experience letter is from here UAE.. there is no attestation authority here??

Regards

There's no requirement of an "attestation", all u need is a "legal translation", which most of translators could do in the UAE. A search of the classified could let u onto one.

Docs in English or French needn't be translated. Besides, no docs for CIC needs "attestation". May I know who asked u to attest the papers in the first place?

For PR 2 years in 5 years for citizenship 3 years in 4 years, also lately i have come across one of my friend who did did his landing and sent his family but himself stayed in Dubai for work , he used to do frequent travels as he was airline employee, but after 18 months of such trips on his tip last month, imiigration officer stopped him and intiatied the proceeding to cancel the PR stating that since he does not want to stay in canada permanenetly and is only visiting his family , he should use temp visa.

Hi all

Just curious if anyone else has come across this. I know of cases where people have stayed out longer and not had any issues
Could it be that the frequent trips was the reason for this ?
The reason I'm really interested is that while we will be landing in June this year we want to move only after 2 years
Will that be an issue since the rule clearly says 2 out of 5 years to maintain PR but if things o according to plan we will have completed 3 out of 5 years when the first PR renewal comes

Any advice on this matter would be helpful

Thanx as always

U'd be fine with that.
B'coz for maintaining ur PR status u r only required to reside in Canada for 2-yrs out of the last 5-yrs, in a rolling cycle. Thus, u could safely be away for 3-yrs.

Nadeem, the file number mentioned on your refusal letter is the file number from your 1st AOR or from your 2nd AOR. ???
