My ecas was showing Received by Visa Office and then last week it was changed to decision made.

My status is changed to "reviewed and in process" will it be advisable to request for the CAPIS notes at this time...??

Will this affect my file in anyway??

That's the same question I have been asking...!!! but not who has been through this is replying...i received a letter saying it could take another 6 to 12 months...but how far is this true?? can anyone reply

U need to wait..Once you have a Process start date in your E-cas, it might take 4-8 weeks for you to receive the next communication.However it normally happens with in 3-4 weeks.Nowadays most of thee applicants are getting a letter from VO stating that they are eligible for further processing , but need to wait for another 6-12 months.But some applicants had received MR also.It fully depends on your IO' review of your files, to request you to wait or proceeed for Medicals.
What ever be the case, the further processing are not so clear as of now and again it depends on wht you get fromyour VO , a letter requesting you to wait or Medicals.
IMHO both , the letter or MR, are good news for anyone..coz for those applicants who has not heard from VO by july 2012, i beleive they would have to hang inthere for a long long long time Imean a looooooong time or follow the fate of the Pre Juners.
So if ya got the request to wait.......Relax!The VO are busy reveiwing all the MI files and they are hellbend to complete this by June2012.
After this and before July 2012 i guess you people should receive your next communication, But again it depends on your timeline ie when did you apply, ur VO,ur Noc,the date of 2nd Aor, the inprocess date, the date of starting process..all those things.
No one can predict anything ass of now.
Keep watching these threads and the others who has similar timelines.

what is CAPIS notes??

Yes you can ask for your caips notes after a few weeks of your process date..it will give you a fair idea how the IO has treated your casefile.However it is recomended only when you are Inproces for a long time i mean more than 1-2 months.

Here in your case by the time you get your caips , you would have received the communication from your VO.

Even if your files have been assessed possitvely, it is always helpfull for other forum members if you canrequest your caips and post it in here for others to analyse.

It would be helpfull for all other if you could just post your timeline which would be readable along with your ID on the left hand side as most others had done.
Include as much info you can , so that people who are reading your case or trying to answer your query will have all those details handy and probably wouldnt have to go back and forth with you to confirm any details.

My status change on march 26th for if i request for a capis today it will take another 4 weeks odd, will that affect anything at all????

the letter I receive from the high commission says not to mail them asking for updates...can i do this then???

Just recieved my PPR step2 via email from London Office.
VO give me 30 days to send subit passports.

Ecas status is still showing INPROCESS without address.

Best of luck to every one for rest of steps of processing.

You can order your caips at any point of time...It wouldnt afffect your application file,your VO and it doesnt dirupt anything.

So if they have asked you to wait , Please go ahead and request your caips and also please post the same in here so that it would be helpfull for others too.Infact this is the right time to order caips.

Does you Ecas staus show a Processing date with a message saying " we started proceesing your ffile on XXXXX"?

Please share your proper timeline on the profile

"It has been reviewed by an officer and found to be eligible for further processing. We anticipate being able to advice you of the next processing steps in 6 to 12 months time""


Seniors,, will it take this much of time to process rest of the process.
