Below is my new status change.What you think ? is it a good sign and how long does it take to get medical.
In addition when do we have to do the landing? is it 6 month from the day of medical or 9 months?

We received your application for permanent residence on January 25, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 6, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the London England office on March 10, 2010. The London England office may contact you.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 24, 2012.

hey,anybody filled the supplementary information(travels details)?if we r staying here in dubai and visits to our home country and back here would not be included in that???

only other abroad travels to be mentioned?

one more thing.....I was just reading through various forum topics so had a confusion......why some people mention they get PPR and some mention they get PPR1 AND PPR2?is there any difference?

plzz can anybody calarify this?

No need to log details of short term (unless specifically asked at a later stage). But all stays of more than 6 months (in any country, incl home country) would need to be documented.

Please let me know The Canadian Visa stamped on the PP is valid for a year from the date of Medicals; assuming that the Passport of any member of the family, if any, does not expire in between that tenure. In that case the Visa will be valid till that expiry date (of the PP). So, plan your landing before the earliest date of the two! 8)

Hi Rejis;
I had the same case before as my passport was lost and I got a new one, what I did is I sent the new passport copy with a cover letter and police report for the lost passport together with a newly filled and signed IMM0008 Application for me and the rest of the family and I mentioned in the cover letter that the only change that happened is my passport number is different all other informations remain the same. All the best and I hope this would help

the form specifically says "out of your country of origin or country of residence" so you dont have to mention trips between your resident country and country of orgin.
