Thanks dear.. i second the advise of my best friend and senior member of the forum BIJU.

That's awesome SATDXB, I really appreciate your detailed analysis even it's taken from oder post but you bring it back to life to help all of us in this forum, Thanks alot. Regarding if am settling there or just landing. This time it will be a landing only for a month, then I will settle next year by August maximum... I wish to see you all soon guys on a gathering in Dubai... You deserve a treat from me at least, Mainly yourself, Mr Qorax and Biju.. You were always here for us and here is a +1 for three of you from me...
I have some very close friends in Vancouver in fact, and that's what really encourages me to think settling there, they will be my references when looking for job, rent and other settling requirements... I speak French as well but I don't want to leave in QUEBEC....
What my friends told me that rent is the only expensive thing in Vancouver, other commodities are the cheapest in Canada if you go to the right places, of course there is always expensive places but you can find cheaper and up to your budget, and my friends are there for three years now, they know every inch of Vancouver.. I guess they can be good help for me when I settle there....

Yes.. its always advisible to settle in Canada in a city where you have good contacts.

So then its a wise decision from your side.

All the best dear.. and surely we will meet one day...!!! :)

Cheers..

As everyone advised u -- send an email asap. U could also perform the Add/Change thru the e-CAS page as well [don't know if that's still available though].

Dear Qorex,
i sent the email to them at 7/2/2012 and i reicved the below reply from them today

Please note that the medical instructions for this file have not yet been issued. Your file currently under review and we are unable to advise when this review will take place. Please note that we will contact you with further instructions as soon as we are ready to proceed to the next step of processing.

my question i thought that once my case trsnsfered to IN process ( since 11/1/2012) this mean i should rceive the medical ?
what kind of checking at this stage ?

and by the way they sent to me another email with some correction as following

Please note that correction to our previous. Your file is currently under review and we are unable to advise of the completion of this review. We will contact you with further instructions in due course.

Hello prejuners,

I think CHC london is taking longer for the applicants who are staying in GCC. Most of the applicants who got AOR in April 2010 and in GCC are still waiting for any response from CHC.

Hi,

Pls take my opinion with a pinch of salt.
U r likelyto see ur meds around Jan/Feb-2013. That is, 36 months from the date ur complete file was sent to the VO [not CIO-NS]. U'd be lucky to see something by end of this yr.

Deeply regretted.

Dear Biju,

Thank you very much for your reply! I went through the website and what I thought I would qualify according to their info was for Skilled Worker category, which seems to have closed at least until June. Is it true that things have become difficult after June last year, when they have changed certain rules? Also please advise on the financials I will have to present. Thanks a lot. And yes, we will sure sure throw a party!

You can apply solo if you want to but my advice is to apply as family for smooth processing.
If you apply solo you will have to join extra documents to your application, check the link below:

Thank you Sir....

Dear Qorax sir and other veterans, pls help me with the below. I emailed LVO about not being able to go through x-rays now. They sent the below reply. I couldn't follow all of it although it's in simple English, for example, it doesn't say when do I do medicals for our babies. Will they be sending new medical forms for newborns after they are born?

Below is their response:

We would recommend that yourself and your spouse wait to undergo medical examinations with your new child when they are born. The validity of your medical examination results (and any visas issued to you) will then be the same for all family members.

Please submit the documents listed below within 60 days of the birth of your baby:

Updated forms which are available on our website:
New Application for Permanent Residence IMM0008 form for the principal applicant
New Schedule A/Background Declaration form for yourself and each family member over the age of 18
New Additional Family Information form IMM5406 for yourself and each family member over the age of 18
Documents for your new baby:
Processing fee of $150 - The forms of payment accepted by our office in London are listed on our website. Unlike the Visa Office in Islamabad, we cannot accept direct deposit payments to the Standard Chartered Bank, Pakistan.
2 passport photos
Long form birth certificate
Copy of passport biopage
We look forward to receiving the documents within 60 days of the birth of your child. Please note that all other documentation requested in our correspondence of 20 December 2011 should still be submitted to us as soon as possible.
