If u want to succeed in Canada - embrace the Canadian system. No one loses-out anything... that's the way it is... that's the correct way a child should study, for their sound development... every Canadian went thru that... and they do succeed even if they do lose a yr vis-a-vis their overseas schooling grades. It doesn't matter, here.

Any province u chose - it'd be the same.

I took his advise and taken TC for my kids in Oman & leaving now.
I'll put them to school as soon as I land in Mississauga to what ever class applicable.
A year here & there will not make any difference. In the long run it helps.

Consider his advise. I know you being a teacher it may be a difficult to deside on this.

I am PR holder valid till August 2016 and I left Canada on 31-07-2011 and i would like to get back on 4th June 2012. Having stayed 10 months outside will it causes a problem? do i need to go through immigration office again? Please seniors who had same experience reply me.

No issues.
You can reenter as the duration of stay outside Canada is only 10 months.
Hope you had collected your PR Card before leaving or else you need to get PRTD.

To retain your PR you need to stay minimum 2 years (730 days) out of 5 years.

Ask ur IO to send u another set of med forms, direct @ ur address. Explain that LINKS misplaced it, if they had recd it.

Just an update from my side. Glinks tried tracing our forms (?) for 3 days promising us that they have it and today confirmed that it's ended up in some trash and is untraceable. When we ask them how is it possible, they just evade questions and confuse us on the phone and sweet talk. So we paid these guys 6000 dirhams, spent too much effort following up etc. , only to have our medical forms sent to trash

Glinks does not give a damn about their clients. Once we have finished enrolling, we are treated like a piece of crap. If anyone's planning to go with them, then please please don't go.

I have now sent a polite, apologetic email to LVO requesting to send us the forms through both email and postal mail, and gave them my husband's office address.

Are there any chances they send these forms by email? Can anyone tell me?

Otherwise it's going to be a long wait again; waiting for the post at my husband's office. We didn't think of having a personal po box address all this while. Didn't know we might need it. And it's too late now I suppose.

Am venting above I know ; if someone wants to join I will be glad!! Thank you
