Hi guys, I checked my status just now and it's showing:
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
And only today itself my passport was received by LVO.
Is that normal??? please advice

Yes Jacky, your case is same as mine... my PP received by LVO last monday, but the very next day after i received my PPR my Ecas was changed to Decision made, the office will contact you concerning this decision. So i presume its normal and we dont have to worry. :)

wish you good luck!!! cheers

Thank you Soby for your reply. How to find if my documents are updated? is there any way to find out? Please let me know.

You can send an e-mail to your VO requesting to confirm the receipts of the same.
its not very necessary though, coz the VO update your file immediately on receipts of the updated Docs.

Out of despiration, sent a follow up mail to the visa office in London and got an automatic reply as follows..

The London visa office has received your email. We'll reply within 28
days. Don't resend your enquiry. We reply first to emails we consider
urgent where the urgency is stated clearly. We only reply to case status
enquiries if the processing time shown on www.UnitedKingdom.gc.ca (not
www.cic.gc.ca)
has passed. If you've submitted new information, we'll
update your file without replying.

and www.UnitedKingdom.gc.ca states

•Skilled Worker applications received after February 27, 2008: Because these applications are affected by new regulations, an average processing time is currently not available. Do not contact us for case status enquiries within 9-12 months of submitting your application

I have already crossed 16 months, hopefully they will get back with a specific answer...

This is just for information to others who are in the same timeframe...

Regards,
rejis.

Hi Rejis,

Thanks for updating us on this matter.

I am also waiting for an update from London visa office.

Well, it seems that they are taking more time to process our application.

I think that CIC will contact us this year.

Folks,

My consultant in Canada moved from one place to another, last month in December. They say that they have notified the London Visa Office about the address change in December, but I do not see the address updated in my e-cas yet (My e-cas shows my consultant's address because I am using them as my representative). I would like to know that;

1. In case of a representative, does London Visa Office only deal with the represetative? Or can I, as an applicant, also request London Visa Office to update my postal address?
2. If you believe I can do that on my own, what is the way to do that? i.e. Email or fax, etc? Can you please share their contact details?

Thanks and Regards.

Hi Rejis

Keep me informed if any change in your case status, I think we are in same line.

Enjoy dear !!!!!!! :)
