thanks Vinks,Mycan, SATDXB and Qorax, you are all brilliant here and you guided me towards the dream. A friend of mine spent around 15000 AED between agency and fees for Visa Office before stamping his visa and because of this forum the cost was far less.
Please keep the faith and keep this thread as alive as ever.

It'd be nice to see u 2 visiting the forum, sporadically - if not regularly, unlike many others who forget the obvious once 'landed'. We need 2 keep the ball rolling, don't we?

AEO applicants take a tad more time on their b/ground checks [that AEO also goes into checks]. Moreover, cases from certain region/s have a slight deeper scrutiny [meaning: delays]. Relax! Hold-on 2 ur faith... and all will be well soon!

Very well opined Capt Qorax. We need the experianced ppl back in this forum even post landing so that this platform is all the more useful to the new applicants.
After all we are obliged to give back the blessings we received

Soon bro!!!! I mean when you are here in Dubai ;D

Excellently put Master Qorax.

I strongly feel this itself is volunteering & networking.
We can start right now and need not wait until we land in Canada to do so.
Here we are getting paid too... in terms of their blessings, prayers and good wishes.

I know how I was feeling during the process as a new comer.
It is only the amount of support I got here, which kept me spirited throughout.

I started spending more time in this forum after getting my visa to pass on the help/pay back what I got when it is really needed.

You would have observed in the recent past that many times I just cut & paste articles/provide link from your thread and other seniors just to ignite the curiosity for newcomers so that they get to read, understand and benefitted.

Your signature foot note itself is so inspiring, inviting, enrolling and motivating to do our little bit of good.

Thank you very much for creating many secondary leaders like me.

Apologies for inserting my dumb questions in an otherwise upbeat thread.

I did email VO two days back for a status update of my application, and they did not get bak to me yet :(

It's been depressing to having to wait with no updates from anyone whatsoever. I think my frustration builds up due to inaction by my consultant.

If VO doesn't reply, is it recommended to send follow ups?

Also, what is the correct process to send details of the renewed passport?

All your replies are very much appreciated.
