My husband and I are Indian nationals living in Dubai and we applied for skilled workers immigration under the listed professions (my husband's professions was one of those in the list) in october 2010.

We received the EXXXXXXXXXXX sometime in April 2011, howerver, BXXXXXXXXX was comunicated to us in October 2011; almost after an year. We did go through a Consultant paying AED 6000, but they apparently didn't do much apart from just couriering our documents (not without some errors).

Anyway, in October 2011, we received an email from London office asking us to send them the updated Schedule A forms as well as IMM forms which we subsequently did.

Since then, we have been waiting for requests from them regarding PCC and medicals and no luck yet.

Can someone please advise what can we do to expedite the process? Is there anything we can do. Our consultants are useless.

No doubt consultant/s is/are useless and hopeless. Now you can send your queries to your VO and if they need more actions from your side , they will let you know. We don't have any catalyst to expedite the process but waiting. They have some standard process on which they are working.

All the best and keep posting in this awesome platform!

Thanks.

I have a question for those applicants who applied after June 2010.

Did you submit your PCC along with the application? I didn't, as I was late and feared the cap for NOC may be reached and Consultant made me believe PCC can be submitted when the request come from them.

I believe my consultant is not wrong because my H's colleague who is same NOC like my H applied in March 2011 without a PCC, and got a letter in October 2011 from LVO requesting for PCC as well as medicals. He got all that done and his visa got stamped last week.

Is there anyone like me who didnt submit their PCC (after June 2010 applicants) along with the initial application?

Thanks in advance for the responses.

HoneyFlower,

You don't need to send your PCC with your application for London Visa Office for applicants post June 2010. They will require you to send that seperately once you are eligible for processing.
