I am second on that...!!!!

Regards,

Guys I have a question about the PR status and citizenship.

I know from the CIC website that for a someone to maintain his PR status he must reside in Canada for 2 years within 5 years from landing. Also, for someone to qualify to applying for citizenship he must reside in Canada for 3 years out of 4.

If I land in Canada on a given date, and if I stay there for 3 consecutive years (non-interrupted), will I qualify for citizenship or first I must stay for 2 years to maintain PR then 3 years for the citizenship (total stay 2+3=5).

Please clarify.
Thanks so much

if u stay 730 days u can maintain ur PR status OR if u stay 3 years consecutive u can apply for citizenship. means total 2years for PR and plus 1 year more for citizenship

Hi jmora,
SATDXB and BIJU said correctly. You stay for 1095 days and you can apply for citizenship.

Hello,

Yesterday I sent our passports.

The info to share:

You can send your passport through First flight Couriers.

Benefit:

You can send as much as in just 30% of the amount taken by the DHL (as captain said save as much as you can)

Now you all are thinking we cannot take risk for Passports..

Important:

First Flight sends it through DHL only. So if you give your courier to FF, very next day they will give you DHL courier track no. So you can track on DHL web site directly and there is no delay in for process.

regards,

Thanks for the clarification , guys. 8)
