Appreciate sharing your time line ...I can see that from Feb to June 2010 it make sense to add the line of processing and its quite reasonable..However what makes me a bit concern is that i received my 2nd AOR on 11th August 2010 and still the status in side is as follow.Yes it is true that now my status has changed to IN PROCESS is Feb 2011 ..however no line added saying we started processing even after 1 year from 2nd AOR..What do you think..May be they dont update the in side status or is there is any thing wrong ??? Please share your views
And do you remember that when was your status changes to In process and after how long have you seen this last line in your status

Well to be honest i do not know when my In process details appeared in the status coz i was not watching very closely at that time coz when i applied i thought Canada is too high for me to achieve !!! (that's the fact )
I have one of my collegue too having the same issue as yours and I think CIC is not keen to update the E-Case strictly.
In my case one things is to be noted that in June 2010 it turned to In process because on that date a interview was requested on my file (I know this from CAIPS Notes) and from June to December 2010 they waited because they had no free Interview slot in Abu Dhabi. Otherwise my processing was not stuck any where it seems and due to my peculiar nature of travels my Background check should have taken longer, but with God's Grace i got PPR in 5.5 months I got PPR.

Now my Colleague (his case is straight forward He is an Indian never been to any country other than UAE) has the following E Case status with In Process:
We received your application for permanent residence on December 9, 2009.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 5, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the London England office on February 10, 2010. The London England office may contact you
I think he submitted full documents in May 2010 and got AOR July 2010.
So here we can not draw any assumption as each case is been treated differently and all confused due many Rule changes in between too
Anyway lets keep fingers crossed and praying.
I can tell you one thing whatever hectic the waiting is but still its worth it, coz the joy & peace now i am having proves it

Well here i have another plan. I am sending my passport to my Brother in UK and he would submit in person. He just needs my PP now as i already send my wife's and daughters PPs, when he came on last vacation
But i can send my PP only after 10th coz I am out of country and will be back in Dubai on 10th of Oct.
But as i near the end of this tiring journey find it all the more tough to wait any more.

you need to send a authorization letter too for ur brother for collecting the passport.

Oh ya i already gave him the Authorization letter to him Signed by me and wife when he came on vacation. (thanks to this Forum members I could plan well in advance)
Now I can not change the dates to send the passport due to Office commitments.
I have to submit within 45 days from 15th Sept ie before Oct 30.
Now I will be back in Dubai on or before 10th Oct and will send the PP to my brother and he will submit in on the next available Thursday.
So i hope this wont hurt me.

Firstly I would like to thank you for all the hard work you have putin and i trust you guys need recognition from CIC for doing such a great Job.Heads off to you.I am a very silent member and have read some of your post.It gives every one a great confidence and keep up the good work.

Another question for you..I have applied under FSW on 11th Jan 2010 in Dubai and my status went In process this Feb 2011.Below post in CIC website gives me an impression that if the status is in Process it means all is well in your file and process has started.However i read so many post and they say process starts only when they mention we start processing your application on so and so date...Please clarify as i have bit confusion with my education points......In addition please may I ask how many point they award for 10+2 and three year diploma in Hotel Management from National Council of HM in India ( it is a Course with Practicals , full time diploma )

If your Diploma is a Full time class and if u have given the university transcript. you will get upto 22 points.

normally whn you see In process the eligibility is completed. but now a days whn a file is in process we are not seeing the line "we reviewed ur application and start processing on ____ date" so till u get Meds or addt doc request letter we cant say 100%. but no cause for worries

Dear friends, PIA free baggage allowed the dimension of baggage is 62 linear inches/158 cm (length + width + height) for international travel but I facing a problem to find out the exact dimension of the suitcase. I found suitcases in the market about 64 inches dimension.
Please advise me that do they strictly follow the die mention or not? can i purchase the 64 inches dimention suitcases?

No cause for worries buddy. these are all case to case. i too applied on oct 6 2009 and with Gods grace got visa on June 2011 & already landed.
