Guys do we néed transit visa if we have connecting flight in Paris or Amsterdam, we are planning to take air France or klm. I just confirmed that in US, they r requiring this even 4 connecting flights.

You won't face this problem in European transit, but check with airline at booking time.

No problem, but you cannot return it to your account without a huge money transfer circle. What you will do is ask your bank to cancel the draft. They may or may not have a penalty for canceling the draft, please discuss with your bank at time of having the draft.

If you have plans to eventually settle in Canada, I would strongly suggest leaving your unneeded savings there. This way you will be building Canadian banking and credit history while you are outside Canada.

guys really appreciate your inputs, it helps us a lot....by the way, the bank draft will be under the name of my wife, is that okay even if i am the pricipal applicant.....half of the fund will be in cash, and half would be in bank draft.....our family will travel together....many thanks again

Nice to see a separate thread for dubai applicants. I am considering applying for FSWP this year but Im a bit confused. Im basically a Network Engineer and have around 8 years work experience. Could I still apply under 2281 Computer network technicians. Some of the job descriptions match but I just dont have the title of technican mentioned anywhere. Also, if I do get accepted in this category does it mean that I would have to look for jobs in canada under this title?
Appreciate if anyone can help me on this!!

depends upon your Job description on your CV and experience letter, if u can get it then technician no problem, even ur visa is engineer.

guys we take our Bank Draft (for proof of settlement fund) from emirates bank today, that is in US dollar, but I've noticed that the recipient bank is City Bank with Branch in US...do you think this will create a problem? of the recipient bank should be in Canada....They told me, it is OKAY considering that City Bank is all over....they also said that I can even even deposit that to my account in other banks in Canada, once I open an account.....thanks

no one can predict about the next year NOC professions, but they have already changed the system and process starting from January 2015

it is Ok, but there will be charges for the collection from USA. in your declaration form you have to declares in CAD$ and exchange the rate to Canadian dollars. yes you can deposit any bank in canada or usa.

I still cannot see the thrid line on e-cas. ??? Generally how long does it take.., Anybody has experienbce with dubai london clinic..
BTW, my VO is NDVO....

. Updating of you ECAS depends on your visa office. For LVO,that will take approx a week from d time the clinic uploaded the result..this is based on my case.

from 29 to next 29 is normal, don't worry if not updated then u can write email to VO asking acknowledgment of your medicals.
I hope status will be updated with in 3 weeks

What does the new system Express Entry mean which is starting Jan 2015 mean? How is it different from the current system?
