Dear Qorax,

I made a confirmed flight reservation from etihad airways from abu dhabi to toronto, for the SJTD, but in the itinerary,my infant`s name is wrong,as they put his first name then his mother`s last name al together, i dont know if this is a mistake or a standard from airlines where they attach the infant to his mother ticket as he dont have a seat only a bassinet ,i couldnt see this at time of booking as they said they will email to me as its a e-ticket......even my name is not fully writen its like A-B-D, rather than A-B-C-D, would that create problem for issueing the SJTD visa or at the immigration office in toronto.

please advise.

I've a problem & is in need of ur expert opinion.i'm in Dubai & planning to land next week,Toronto with my spouse.i checked with UAE exchange,western union,al rostamani exchange.none of them can give me demand draft nor traveller's cheques.i don't want to carry cash.please seniors,advise me what to do & if any of you knows a place in Dubai from where I can get the draft or TC.

Banks like dubai islamic bank, HSBC r making demand drafts i have exp with both and is good not feel any problem.

Dear Ramzy, tickets are issued on IATA rules and naming conventions, and the travel agents are using those rules and guidences for issug tickets. thickets has nothing to do with visa and immigrations. therfore, it is ok, dont worry if you want to make sure just visit anyother travel agent and ask them just for reverification, they will tell you the exact. nekeol

Nekoel,thanks for ur reply,but my situation is different from others, cic wont issie visa on my passports as they dont recognise the my country goverment so they will issue something called single entry travel document,its like a seperate sheet printed on A4, and they require confirmed bookings so they type same info on that document,thats why i am concerned if the names on the ticket dont match our passport names ,we might encouter problems......keep in mind this single journey document wont be re-isued again ,

Dont know much details like when did they receive it..Any how I got it. Thank god. I am going to submit my passport now to my agent's office. Will update more information once I am back.

To Qorax and all seniors,
Kindly advise, we did our landing on 1feb. Everything went smoothly all the people are friendly and helpful. After the landing, we are applying for the SIN when we notice my sons dob is wrong on the copr. How can this be ammended? Is the same info going to be mention on the pr card? Pls help me as we are only doing a short landing and i wanted this sorted out before we leave.

we got our work done through premiers but plz do to at your own risk. If you google premier you will find people loads of them cursing premiers! We however had a mixed response, they didn't pick our calls once we paid them,they were rude,they made mistakes in filling forms,they just seemed really unprofessional etc. whenever i visited premiers office i found ppl fighting or cursing them,it did scare me but we had paid them already. we had a straight forward case & I had a hands -on approach on my case so they couldn't fool me,I had the same info as them,so we got our file accepted & did our landing last year in november( the details of which I have to post when I get the time) . Find out about more consultants & make your own decision.
