love to read your valuable guidence to forum members, here i would like to inform you that i ve received MRs via automated email but they didnt asked for RPRF anf Saudi PCC,
1)should i send RPRF any how or wait for their next request ?
2)should i have to send 2 photographs of each family member too ?
3)is there any form need to be filled along with RPRF fees?

1. I'd've sent the RPRF draft w/out their asking... it, sort of, reduces our wait time.
2. It used to be so... pls check ur meds request letter, it should be mentioned in that.
3. No. Just make a draft & send it under a cover letter.

what is the email address of LVO when they communicate with u regarding requesting PPR, is it same as CSE email.....i dont want them to end up in my junk box,i usually delete all emails without checking ....!!

Dear Qorax and other Friends !

I am waiting for Passports from LVO Which sent on 25th Dec 2012 (not long back) but I have few concerns about the followings as we have plans to fly to Toronto in Feb end or March 1st week:

While waiting for PPs to come back should I

1. Arrange and Cargo my apartment stuff to Toronto as this transit time for Cargo is about 2 months on an average ?

2. Should settled all my bank loans i.e Credit Cards and Car loan in advance ?

3. Should I start selling items which I am not taking with us to Canada ?

4. Should I open a Bank account in Canada and transfer my funds ?

The above are the concern and really its difficult to tackle as still PPs not came with confirm Visa and if I wait for Passports to come back that might be somewhere end of Jan / Feb Mid and if I start doing all above then it means my Cargo would reach in April end or May beginning, if I do so then me and my family need to live in Toronto in a furnished apartment and wait for our cargo to come if in case we fly from UAE to Toronto in Feb end or March start as per our plan !!!

Please advice me what should I do in this frustrating waiting period of getting the Passports back from LVO !

Dear Mr. Qorax,

Thank you very much for clearing my previous query. Could you or other seniors advice on the below?

1. Should the salary necessarily be mentioned in the Experience letter, as in my case I have two experience letter (from HR mentioning only position and from the dept. head which explains my job description) received at the time of leaving the company, but there was no salary mentioned in the letter, but I have offer letter in which the salary was mentioned.
2. I had temporarily worked in a company for 3 months while I was on visit visa, salary received in cash but no offer letter/experience letter available. Therefore, I should mention this in the application?
3. I do not have payslip for my previous companies available therefore, can I attach online bank statement copies as proof of salary transferred?
4. During my work, I was promoted from assistant to executive level but I could not find any document stating so, will it raise any question?

Dear Friends,

Regarding CAD $ Drafts for Various reasons-Application Fees, RPRF, POF or Remittance/s etc from Exchanges in UAE

First the bad News : Getting a CAD$ Draft issued from AL FARDAN EXCHANGE or even UAE EXCHANGE is no more possible (at the time of going to the web) as they had to stop issuing the same. ???

Now the Good News : From 1st January the following two Exchange Houses can and are issuing Canadian Dollar Drafts :- 8)

1) WALL STREET EXCHANGE (Many Branches all over) Draft making charges AED 10/-

2) AL ROSTAMANI EXCHANGE (Earlier known as Thomas Cook)

So now, no more anxieties. Of course besides the above, Banks DO issue Bank Drafts usually to their 'A/c Holders only' albeit at their whimsical rates!

BTW, I got the most competitive rates for CAD$ Cash today through AL SHARAF EXCHANGE in Bur Dubai. 8)

As we all know CASH & DRAFT RATES are always different. Today being Sunday, there want any fluctuations and I got @ 3.74.

Now, for Drafts the best I could get was from Union National Bank (3.756) today + Draft making chgs 30/----but all this only for Account holders, Mind you! 8)

Didn't check Rostamani for the rates, though. Wall Street quoted 3.76 for Draft!
