It will be best to apply for Machine Readable Passports now and once you have them, send an update to LVO.

we both get PCC in 5 days.

Is your passport issued in UAE or India?
I hear that if its issued in Dubai then it takes only 5 days else more!

I have sent my hand written passport to LVO. I have asked the same question to Qorax n he replied saying that it's OK. MRP is not mandatory.

Just to update everyone, our case is on its 3rd day of the 5th week since we sent our pps to LVO. Nothing so far.. but life is still sweet. ;D Good day y'all!!

Hi Sir_William, e-cas is still in process eversince 2010, no updates so far even though I have sent medicals and pps. Unlike some of the guys here, they got DM after a couple of days only, now were patiently await for pps which is now the 4th day of the 5th week. How was yours now? got the ppr already?

No Cause for worry , u will see all lines together = Meds received and last line DM soon in ur Ecase soon (if VO does not send file for any security check)

Mine is also in process since 2010. Sent my passports on 19th of this month. There are some cases who get DM when their passports are in courier. You'r now completing your time for getting back the passports & God willing they will be soon in your hands.

I am in Mississauga Area and joined co-op program and would like to thanks to all forum members and got a job working in BMO as CSR
i would suggest to all persons coming Canada in very excited please do research on your filed . and be patience .


if you are married it is my suggestion don't ever leave job both of you come come one by one in Canada to settle down in this way you don't stop your income and you can survive easily . well i don't say is wrong to both of you should not come but this my thinking and realized after coming to Canada.

bring maximum money because here it will finish very soon. Remember do your maximum savings before coming canada.
