Dear Seniors,

Salaam

My immigration to Canada was refused during March 2012 and as per CHC London letter, I should receive my refund check within 60 to 90 days.

Now, more than 6 months have passed, till date I have not received any updates about my refund.

My consultants', head office in Canada never responded to my e-mails as their office in Dubai already been closed.

What action I should take to know the actual status of my refund check or should I forget about?

You kind reply on the above will help.

Have a great life you all.

Best regards,
Starbucks

U will receive it in due course... takes a while, sometimes more than 6-8 months. U may send them a query in between.

guys, anyone here from dubai under qsw in federal part?

Actually its so comforting to know that one can shift between jobs by giving just 2 weeks notice here in Canada, unlike the ridiculous limited/unlimited contracts, employment/labour bans, deporting n all in Dubai ;D ;D

Just wanted to check,

What dose "Medicals have been received" line in e-case actually mean

Does it mean
1. You have cleared your medicals
2. You back ground checks are over
3. Your file will be once again analysed to decide about interview call
4, You application is ready for a passport request

I will appreciate the comments from Senior, specially from Captain sahab

hello. i need support on query regarding police clearnce.
i have applied for work permit and embassy asked me for police clearnce from pakistan which i just recieved in dubai however its format is so pathatic that it mentions about time period and also mentions about specific city.

now i have lived in different cities in pakistan and this police clearnce says that i donot have any critiminal record in this city from this period to this period. need advise as i thought police clearnce would be generalize format without mentioning cities.
what shoudl i do now. should i get one police certificate from city where i stayed in the end mention whole time period from my 18th birthday. at the same time i am telling emabssy about my different addresses in other forms.
i am really stuck here with such confusing format from pakistan police .
can anyone please help what to do next.
the format says below.
this is to certify that there is nothing criminal against Mr X resident of Y (last address in pakistan) passport # X and national ID Y
on the police record during his stay in Islamabad (last city in pakistan). The Period from Jan 2010 to Jun 2011 (this is the time i stayed on this address)

decision made should ideally not come before ppr, but there might be system issues and it has happened in past as well with other applicants, keep checking ecas....

By the grace of Almighty Allah, today after Friday prayers, I got my PPR by email.

Wish you all those in wait, for a speedy PPR.

An e-CAs "DM" should/would occur after the PRV is 'stamped' on a pp, since u've not yet received ur PPR it could be an 'error' -- I pray it is.
