Hi Captain, Biju, Bharat Bhai, Satdxb & to all forum members

Just to inform you that after a long struggle and facing many obstacles, I have only this morning received our Passports back from CIC London. The only drawback is that the Passports do not contain stamped Visa but have the form IM 5292 attached to each passport instead.
My search on the net has resulted that this is the COPR form and passports that do not require entry visa to Canada will not be stamped with a Visa.

Anyways I am on Cloud 9 and wish to thank all of you who have guided me through this journey. My prayers and wishes are with you all in achieving your dream.

The passports were delivered this morning by Aramex but funnily enough, we were not contacted by them prior to the delivery - STRANGE. However, there is a charge of AED 40/- for this service which was paid to the delivery man.

Still can't believe that this part is over and now need to really plan the landing!!

Hi friends received our PP back with the maple leaf.
My time line is as follows -
Sent application on 20th Jan 2011.
We received your application for permanent residence on January 25, 2011.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 18, 2011.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on January 9, 2012.
PP sent on 18th for stamping.Medical results have been received. --25th Feb.
A decision has been made on your application.29th March
Received PP on 04-April
Thanks to Captain Qorax,Biju and other for all the help.planing to do landing in July but seems tickect cost are on the higher side then.

The COPR alone is only provided for passports which are from a Visa Exempt country. All other passports that require a visa for entry into Canada would require a Permanent Residance Visa stamp/sticker along with a COPR.

Init app: Jan 2010
Received 1st file # letter for documents: October 2010
Sent docs: Feb 2011
received 2nd file number: June 2011
Received demand draft stale/expired letter : Oct 2011

After that no response till now please share your details if any one falling under same dates.

I KNOW ONE i have attested at AL ATTAR SHOPING MALL FRONT SIDE ROAD TYPING CENTER IN AL KARAMA DUBAI
they charge hundred drhams but i forget the name of typing center. u will find if u visit at ATTAR SHOPING MALL in karama
