thank all for your support; I have a finally question. if possible to give me a simple Yes or No.. ;D

Does the the VO check all the documents and verify them, because a friend of got the visa in 6 months which i cannot believe he was in the restaurant manager...he never got a call or even a fax for checking...do they check all documents with all the pending work load?

normally CHC london dont check with ur previous companies , if they have doubt or need to check thy will call u for an interview and tht time u need to submit latest experience letters and other supporting docs.

As mentioned by biju rightly, VO will use any means that he needs to verify the accuracy. If VO is satisfied without the call or an interview, that's his / her way to assure. That is not applicant's problem at all. What u should be caring about is the visa. For that, keep doing prayers ;D

It just means that need to wait longer than you originally expected.

Hi Soby, I see that you have received your passport after a week from submibitting it, its 2 weeks now that I have submitted mine but I didn't receive it yet, is that normal???

Mine was submitted in person by my brother in London
If you submit in person 70% chances are there to receive back on the next Thursday (otherwise on the second)
If you have send by courier then it would take around 4 weeks to receive back

I got a standard reply in January. I decided to write to them on January 10th when the holidays are over. But no benefit.

Well I am also from Pakistan, and it sure is some serious security checks going on. You should go through Captain Qorax thread of "Security checks explained". It really tells you all.

One thing also I got to know from my consultant is that the Canadian consulate in Pakistan is closed now. And all the applicants have been transferred to the London office. So now they have lots of files for Pakistani applicants.

Dont worry all will come with time.

Have u sent any Case Specific query as it is almost 6 months that u have sent u Medicals... Are they responding with any goood answer or just giving the standard reply....its just so frustrating ppl who applied in 2011 are getting Visas... which country are you from??
I am from Pakistan... is it cuz of our country that security checks are taken so much time??
