Dear all,

Just wanted to clear a thing. I have applied under NOC 1122 last week. My wife is expecting in first week of oct. At what stage should it be worth to add my baby in our application? Do we have pay extra to the agent for the addition?

Hi, once the baby is born, please forward the below following to your VO.

(a) a processing fee in the form of bank draft for C$150

(b)three passport size photos of the baby according to the photo-specification.

(c) a copy of your baby's birth certificate ."

(d) passport copy.

Please note , you dont have to pay anything to your agent other then the application fee.

Cheers..

Hi guys,

Just for info, Deeaar has 'landed' yesterday, safe & sound. We had a good time together... hit the Tim Hortons imdt after exiting the a/port, got the SIN yesterday itself, did some shopping@Walmart, meals@Kwality & today will go for the bank a/c & other jobs.

He'd probably file-in his report later, as I told him to sleep like a log till late today [however, he gave me a 'wake-up call'@04:10 AM, Canada Time(?) -- I believe yet wary for the jet-lag(!)]

dear friends, we are planning to land on Set 14 via Emirates Airline, we have a connecting flight from London to Toronto, do we need a transiting visa for this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Seniors,

My e-case status is showing "IN PROGRESS" and last update in details is "We started processing your file.......in Sept 2009". Though after that my medical is done in 2010 and they also asked for updated PCC and stuff, but nothing is added or showing in e-case. Is it normal? (VO London)

Regards,

Hi, yes its NORMAL !! The e case will change into DECISION MADE once the visa is stamped on your passport. Or have seen some cases that after receiving the passports back still the ecase shows IN PROCESS.

Thanx for your reply SATDXB. I would also like to know that if I have applied through a consultant is there any correspondence that CHC will be doing with me or it will be all through my consultant. Can I still order for an AOR through their website if I have an address in Canada. Or will they b informing me about the receipt of docs via email. Is there anyway that I can get some info of the initial submission of the docs. The problem here is that my agent has sent my set of docs to a person in Canada and that person will be submitting the docs. Now the AWB number that they have given to me is for the address of that personin Canada. How would I knw when that person has submitted the docs. Pls advc.

Hi Qorax, SATDXB and all seniors,

Is it possible to get a travelers cheque from a bank without having an account in the same bank..

Hi, as you have authorize a consultant , CHC will only communicate with them. And if you dont trust them. Then fill the below form and send across your VO. And same time change the address in the ECASE.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5476e.pdf

Trust me, members like QORAX, BIJU and other respected Senior members, you wont be requiring any CONSULTANT !!!
