i have noticed a lot of 1111 NOCs applications are delayed/stuck at some stage.
Do u think its probably because there are a lot of finance/ accounts professionals already in Canada?

I don't think that is reason.
with other professions also same is the issue.

I think it matter on which VO you are, London is v v v v v v v v v v v v v v slow.

Hmm so forget it for another 6 months?
the immigration people do not follow what they say. That is very disappointing.
I have never send any email to them as i have applied through a consultant ( Aires Intl ) and they are following up.
Should i go for CAIPS after 1 or 2 months if there is no reply or simply forget it?
:) :)

hi buddy

i always recommend to apply Caips only after ur file is in process.

Yes, that is true. Now the applicants whose NOCs r yet in the 29 list take PRIORITY. This msg is available in the CIC website.

Dear Biju/Qorax,

is it better to pull out my old application and re-apply a new one.

they say it will take two years or more for pre june applicant which noc is not in the list anymore.

hi micham

if u do tht too ur details are in the system. and in the new 29 list , accountants are not there. :(

ur "In process" happend on feb 8th. so just wait a few weeks and see whether the msg "we reveiwed ur application and start processing on 00/00/2011." shows
there is a chance for tht coz another person's ecase has this msg since this tuesday.

@ Qorax,

so if that is the case then all 1111 cases will take more time than other FSW class....even pakistan cases r @ Uk CHC this might be another reason for slow proccesing..... :(

Does anybody know if the Canadian Consulate in Dubai do notarization of copies? If so, is this acceptable by the immigration officers in CIO / VO?

Do I also have to notarize passport copies? or just the employment contracts and certificates?
I have around 40 copies to be notarized, and if each paper costs AED 100 in al tawar, Dubai then that's a lot of money!!

What is the alternative??
Please help
Thanks in advance

@ Qorax.

24-36 months ...?

i submitted my doc's in june 2010 and got the letter with 2 file number in july its almost 9 months now .....? do u mean another year...?

Is there any harm in sending the original document rather than a notazied copy?
