June 10-15? I submitted it on April 9, 2011 and CHC London received it 2 days after. I suppose my passport will be back max 6 weeks from April 11 which will be on May 16, 2011. Please comment. Thanks.

Yes buddy - he is QSW and Vo Abu dhabi ie why its fast and in his case he wil get the PP back in max 10-12 days including the holidays

I was trying to search online for jobs postings on Ontario area but they requires the "Federal Government Clearance - Enhanced or Secret" and says mandatory.

How, where and what are the requirements to obtain such clearance?

Hi Guys

I have just applied for immigration 2 months back but my agent says that my file has been returned due to the fact that CIC in London has achieved its maximum limit of applications. Moreover, due to elections, CIC in London is unable to process my papers. However, according to him, I am almost approved and there is absolutely no need to re-do the entire file. The same papers will go back once again in July.

Have you heard something like this? My agent seems to be a nice guy but after reading some horrible stories on certain blogs, I am a bit uneasy.

1. A Good Conduct Cert, obtained from the local Canadian Police Stn, should be fine.
2. Not all employers ask for this GCC though.
3. It's only possible for 'in Canada' applicants.

1. There's nothing called 'almost approved' -- u r either this way, or that way.
2. U may be surprised on his nicety later.

I think it is due to the job offer and the positive LMO which I submitted to them. My file was sleeping for quite sometime until LMO was forwarded to CHC London. Just few weeks after that, medicals were received, and few weeks after medicals, PPR was also received. Do not worry, you too will receive PPR soon. God Bless.

Its great i found this forum, i wanted to ask experienced people away from agents and consultants to give me REAL opinions.

My husband and I want to apply for Canada immigration, we have talked already to one consultant, but i have made some search online and knew that some people apply for immigration by themselves without using any consultants.

i need any opinions regarding this matter and if anyone here applied by himself, i would really appreciate if he shares his experience with me on how he did it, as i also have some questions regarding the documents and the applications.

Hi,

Need advise..... I am planning to apply for a tourist visa to Canada as my sister would like me to visit her during Ramadan time. My company will give me NOC and provide the necessary documentation for my visit.

Question is...would this jeopardize/affect my pending FSW/PR visa application or vice versa?
