Hi Nevil,

If your visa office is ND, then how you will do the medical in Abu Dhabi....? Is there any clause which states that UAE Visa office can request for Medical on behalf of New Delhi....?. If its allowed then fine...

Regarding your passport to India, you can solve that by sending the passport with an authority letter to your relatives going to India.

I was expecting it today as i was compering Satish's time line:

this is 3 weeks ..

I cant wait to get my passport .. things will never be the same any more

Hi Bazim,

Well I am doing it through a lawyer as well as am getting anxious as I want to clear the steps already. My status chows that there have started processing my file on September 26th, 2010 that's 5 months ago, I have already received the CSQ (Quebec) and sent in the IMM5549. So far less than a year has passed since the start but I know that I am somewhere nearing the medical test request and would like to check on around to expect it.

labour contract u can submit without notorization too. OR there are 2 options to get it notorised , here in UAE they are not doing it. 1, either go to ur consulate and do it . 2, u have to send to ur home country and do it.

1. U can bring-in whatever amount u want over-n-above, BUT the min should be as per the CIC guideline [the pax table].
2. The ideal/wise way is the "80:20 Rule" -- 80% in Draft/s & 20% in Cash [or some in TCs].

Hi Friends,

Received Passports with shining Maple Leaf!!!! Visa was issued dated 03.02.2011. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

For me it took exactly 13 months after sending full docs to London. ( as per London avg time line)

Thanks to this wonderful Forum and each and every member who helped me and my family in this wonderful journey.

I never approached an Agent and am proud to say that this Forum is my Agent.

Hi, i submitted my full docs in Jan,10, received my medicals at the end of Aug,10. And received my PPR in Jan 11.

Can Somebody answer?!!
1)If my VO is ND then can i do my medical in Abu Dhabi?!! I think Medical can be done anywhere..
2)How can I send my passport to India having considered that I am staying in Abu Dhabi.
