Proof of funds....

Here's my question:

I have funds in my savings account + national bond certs + mutual funds...

the sum of all the accounts are almost double the amount than what i have to show as proof of fund...

if i show proofs for all mentioned above, will it be a problem??? I wanna show all just to be on safe side incase if VO doesn't a particular type of fund?


The amounts in above a/c's are in different currencies. do i have to convert and state the same?

Hi Nevil

its 100% ok , now u can apply with the current passport copies and now u can renew the Passport 6-7 months b4 expiry ie on Mar-Apr 2011. and later u can send the new PP copies with the amendment letter. (i did the same)

Hi i am Nevil from Abu Dhabi and now writing with new name edmonta,
My question is i am going to submit my full docs in Decemeber end & My wife's PP is expiring in Oct 11.So is it ok that if i submit all docs with wife's existing passportcopies which is expiring in Oct 11.What if the PP request comes in Aug sept 2011.
What i am planning is i will submit the PP copies now to CHC ND and then after i'll get her passports renewed before the medical & PP request comes(withing 6-7 month waiting peroid )?!!
IS THAT OK?!!

u can show the saving a/c (3-4months Original statement) and national bond certi copy notorised, ie more thn enough if the total of all this is equal to the Fund required.

1. No problem.
2. Yes, u need to convert them into CAD*.

*Show the real currency value & put the CAD value in the next column - then total it.

just i found this threat. i am also in dubai. i applied in feb 22nd 2008. i am submitting application for my wife now cz i am married since 1 year. should i send original docs like digrees , marksheets or photocopy will work and i can submit original when they are needed. is it ok ?

NO Need to send originals, u need to send the notorised copies of all as well as ur marriage certi. if she is working u can keep a original employment certi with all job discriptions in tht.

I am going to submit my ful docs and half of my docs were notarized earlier in 2006 when i was working out for some another immigration.My question is doc notarized before 3-4 years are ok to sumbit or i should go for the new notarized copies..

I think u didnt recognize me.I am Nevil from Abu Dhabi & we had met in Dubai meet.I have already received 1st AOR and just need to submit the full docs >nOof applicants submitted dont bother me as i am a pre 26th June applicant.

Since My Original graduation Marks sheets were submitted to Karachi University at the time of Admission in Masters, therefore I requested for Duplicate (KU does not return Original Marks shees), and Now after a lot of delay due to unstablity in Karachi during the last month, My reltive got the mark sheet, but they Provided Only B.Com Part 2 Marks sheet, which means that the number of all Part 2 subjects are mentioned individually, where as only the total of part 1 is mentioned,

Now my question is; will CIC accept this marks sheet, because I am finding it very dificult, being residing out of country, to get the Part 1 marks sheet again, As university Reps. are saying that this marks sheet will suffice because it containes the total marks of part 1 as well, and they can not issue a seperate marks sheet for part 1.

Need your opinions guys.
