1. Paper Clipped together, but each document (if more than one page) stapled.. in the checklist order..luniqa said:Hello everyone!
I have a couple of things to ask.
1. Did you bind the documents? or paper-clipped or stapled? or just arrange them loosely according to the checklist's order?
2. about the mailing address label written in the official language fo the country of residence, did you really have an arabic written name and address?
I am really ready to send them thru courier now except for these things..
Please let me know..
Thank you.
- Used Paper clips for thinner bunch of documents. Used Clip Binders for thicker bunch of documents. I strongly discourage using staples for any purpose.luniqa said:Hello everyone!

qorax said:Hi all from Dubai,
It's high time that we start our 'own thread', like others are doing here !!!
I request all to post your timlines here and get connected. Firstly, it will sail us thru on this long agonising waiting period. Secondly, thru networking we can help each other on info sharing and act as morale boosters. Thirdly, we'll expand our 'Friends-Circle', both here as well as post landing.
Quite a few of us, in Dubai, are already in touch with each other. Some are thru, some just applied, while some are waiting for our PPRs. Let's expand the network... what do you say buddies ?
Warm regards.

echoboxone said:Dears,
I need your advise. My wife applied for Canadian Immigration 4-5 years back in Dubai at NASC (North American Service Center). The last time we visited NASC was around 7 months back. They told us that our application was denied. If our application was denied, we need to get a refund right? at least for the AED 6,500 we gave them for the fee for 3 of us? The first time we visited them they asked AED10,000 at the same day for their fee. We gave them another AED 6,500 for the fee for me, my wife and our daughter. After few months, they told us they need a copy of our papers and each photocopy of our papers cost AED 50 X 40 papers = AED 2,000. We regret of not pushing them and I think they didn't even submitted our papers and was simply taking money. Is there a way to check if our application was applied? Please advise.
Thanks in advance.
HI....Ask for proof of delivery, if they dnt, then ask when the application was delivered.
Email CIO mentioning your name/passport number/DOB/Country of Birth and ask for status....if they reply that they cnt find your application, then take this email copy along with all the letters of your communication with consultant and log a complaint with Consumer Protection...
I got my money refunded in the same way... All the Best
