Hi Ashpin, where are you able to see number 132 for a particular NOC ? Does that include backlog of other years for just for April 2014 onwards?

The NOC CAP Status can be checked here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

It indicates the number of Applications received by CIC on or after May 2014 (I believe May 4th to be exact).

There are no backlogs on part of CIC that have been carried forward from April 2014 or before although there are applicants from the previous year who have applied during the initial days of the opening of FSW 2014.

need advice about PCC.i born and broughtup in dubai.i visited pakistan lahore only for few days in evry 3 to 4 years.is it pcc required for me from pakistan also.i never lived in lahore for more thn 10 days in single visit.

how can i get pakistani pcc from dubai( i dont know any one in lahore to do this)

plz advice me..

Mine was same ( except that I was born in Pakistan ) but CIC demanded PCC from Pakistan too but please don't send them if CIC didn't asked for it.

what happens in your case.since you done it medical.it seems that you complete most of headache part of the process.

is cic ask you abt PCC from pakistan...are you lived in pakistan for more thn 6 monhts after ur 18th birday.(wht i see on cic website pcc required from the places where you hv lived more thn 6 months after your 18th birday)

i never lived in pakistan for more thn 2 weeks since my birth here in dubai(even i visit only once to pakistan after my 18th birday only for 2 weeks)

so what you think..still they force me for PCC from pakistan..

I am 99.9% sure that CIC would not ask ( or force ) you for PCC from Pakistan but if they do, then you have to provide them. The procedure for getting a PCC from (Islamabad) Pakistan, however is very simple.

I am 99.9% sure that CIC would not ask ( or force ) you for PCC from Pakistan but if they do, then you have to provide them. The procedure for getting a PCC from (Islamabad) Pakistan, however is very simple.

I am a long way from that at the moment. CIC is yet to enter June. I am a July 10th applicant.

The quota is 1000 and not 500. Nobody can guarantee you anything but a fair assessment would be that you have a good chance of fitting in the CAP.

I have a problem in issuing the demand draft, is it true that bank address/ branch in Canada needs to be mentioned on the cheque issued by the bank I have a friend who is dealing with an immigration agent said that as some time chic will not be able to in cash the payment
I have already issued one but only bank name and account number for the receiver general for Canada is mentioned
Kindly help as this is my last mile
Do you know any bank in uae that such address is mentioned on that demand draft

I got my draft from ADIB. Check them out they issue drafts for even non adib customers. The name of the bank in Canada will be mentioned. CIC has to deposit in that branch to avail the funds

yes that is good, but my main question is, when you got the cheque dose bank address in Canada was also mentioned aside to band name and bank account
my main concern is to find a bank that beneficiary bank address is highlighted on the cheque it self

I have been recently requested for MR, PCC and PRF fee.

I changed my job in July. I live in the UAE, consequently the name of sponsor in my residence visa has also changed.
Do I need to inform the LVO for this Job change.



1----At this stage do i need to inform them about the job change as it will reflect in my new visa stamped in the passport.
or should just dont do any thing?

2----In case i need to update them, how should i do it.

3---- can any one inform me where is it mentioned that a passport should atleast have a validity of 1 year at the time of Medical request?
