Hi,

I have a very confused situation.
I moved from Canada to UK with fiancée visa but filed world income to Canada as Canadian tax resident (no property or family in Canada) until I received the permanent card in UK. It seems I should file Canadian income including bank saving interest and pension lump sum from Canada to UK too since I live in UK for 183 days in one tax year even before I got the job and before become permanent in UK (arising basis). So do I have to change my departing date from Canada to the real leaving date instead of the date I received the permanent resident in UK to avoid dual resident? Or is it ok to file tax to both countries as tax resident to keep it as simple? Any future problem? Is it possible to be two tax residents at the same time? I have advised CRA of the date of permanent in UK as leaving date from Canada but seems a mistake? Is it easy to change my NR73? I was PR card holder and became Canadian citizenship after I left Canada but living address In Uk was advised to CIC before the ceremony.

Thank you for any opinion.
