Dual Intent with Study Permit

Hi Guys, has anyone recently applied and got Canadian study permit visa whilst having express entry profile?

I am going into a similar situation and would like to know if the application should be fine.

Please advise.

While I'm still waiting for my study permit approval, I had an EE profile at the time of applying for SP. However, I withdrew my EE application 2 weeks before applying for SP (which won't create much difference, but still).

Dual intent has no issues as long as your study application clearly proves you have a plan post studying in your country if residence . As In a solid plan to return back
