Hi, the lmia is for noc7321 in Ontario. Maybe it goes faster because it's a dual intent. Anyhow my husband's employer wants to hire more people and is willing to get a lmia for them. Have to be experienced, preferably qualified and willing to work. They repair and maintain trucks of all brands. Located in Hamilton Ontario. If interested inbox me and I'll give you the email address.

Hi could you please help me with LMIA question too? I wrote you mine email. Thank you so much!

I believe it doesn't matter to WP, it's just basically saying that you need to apply for your WP before July 11 2017.

Hi All,
I got my LMIA approval letter for dual intent. My noc is 2283 and below is the timeline.
Lmia applied - December 16th
Interview call - Jan 3rd (missed)
Second interview call - Jan 9th
Positive lmia received - Jan 16th
Now my question is if I apply for work permit now how long will I get it for. Can I get 2 year's work permit ?? Where should I mention this?? Also right now I have a pgwp which is expiring in July 2017. I want to apply for work permit immediately and get a sowp for my spouse. Is it possible to get 2 yrs work permit ??

I believe it says somewhere in LMIA, like duration or something... Or maybe in one of Annexes with your information, I can't remember anymore... But it says there. Also, another way to check is with wage. Basically low wage gives 1 year and high wage gives 2 years

Yes ofc it's median wage, but it is getting categorized according to this:
https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/services/foreign-workers/hire/median-wage.html

Check your wage and province so you will know. Cheers!

Mine is above Median wage.

AM in ONTARIO and the my wage is 26.44$ per hour. Does it mean that am in high wage category?

Yes, probably your work permit will be valid for 2 years.

Hi Dear,
Please can you give me some advise.
Yesterday I got my LMIA based work permit refusal from New york VAC. I applied for EE with +LMIA job offer on Jan 05, 2017. Currently, I have applied for Visitor extension too. My PGWP was expired on Nov 2015, then wp extension refused, restoration(90days), restore as a visitor and also extend visitor again.
Do you have idea like LMIA based WP refusal affect my current PR application.

my timeline is
Dec 31, 2010 - came to Canada as a student
Feb13, 2013 - spouse came to Canada dependent WP
15 Nov 2015 - both Open WP expired and applied for extension
Mrch 13, 2016 - WP extension refused and on restoration
Jan 01, 2015 - created EE profile waiting until Dec 2016
Dec 14, 2016 - restore as a visitor
March 22, 2017 - extend visitor
March 16,2017 - applied for visitor extension
Jan 9, 2017 - applied for WP with +LMIA
Jan 5, 2017 - applied for PR with LMIA
March 28, 2017 -LMIA based WP refused (lack of compelling evidence of dual intent)
and have 2 Canadian born Princess.
Please dear, suggest me if you have any idea what to do as I have seen you did lot of post so you should have thorough idea.
please........

Dont send the wrong message to public, the duration of work permit is not related to the wage of position, mine is low wage and get 2 year close wp
