I have been full-time last term and this term up until me deciding I may drop a course which will put me as a part-time student for the last month of this term. (The big picture is that I have been a full-time student for most of this entire school year except the last month of the school year.)

Does this still mean I will be ineligible to work this summer because I went below full-time status (even for a month?)

You'll be fine working this summer. But there's some chance this could impact your PGWP. I would avoid dropping the course and remain a full time student if at all possible.

I'm an OCD A+ student, I fear of seeing a C or below on my transcript.

Hypothetically, if I fail this course (though I stay full-time until the end of the term), I will be unaffected for future PGWP?

It's a required course and I plan to re-take it in the future.

surely only doing this once over the course of my program will be okay for PGWP?

Dont know which school u are in. But most of the university dont allow intl students to study parttime EXCEPT in last semester

Believe me my friend, there are many things are worse than a C in a paper

If you do this once - you should be fine. However students sometimes find themselves unexpectedly in situations where they only take a part time course load in either their last or second to last semester (e.g. because courses they need to complete their studies aren't offered). If you do this AND already have another earlier semester where you were part time - you can kiss your PGWP goodbye. I would take the C grade and safeguard your PGWP. But ultimately your choice.

I think I may have already lost my chance anyway, I just remembered that my first school term here, I dropped down to one class (switching majors) prior to switching universities. (the first university wasn't a good fit) but immediately the next term (winter), I was back to full-time status.

I'm not sure if that already ruined it for my PGWP. And the grade I will have for the course will be an F actually. I was just using C as an example.

It will be an F until I re-take the course... and still the F will still be there, so I hear. But it won't count in the GPA calculation after I retake the course to get a better grade. I'm just not happy to have that F mark on my transcript even if it eventually won't be apart of my GPA in the end.
