Driving License Situation Help, preferably Pakistani candidates

I was hoping someone could shed some light on this problem. I had a driving license since 2011 and that expired on 2016. Apparently that DL was not official and there was no record as is the case with our impressive govt offices. Now I went through getting a learners and then a new DL issued. Now the problem is that DL shows issued from 2016. What do I do? How do I show my driving history from 2011? How do I prove it and authenticate it for Ontario? Any help would be appreciated.

To claim the driving experience you take your license to Pakistani Embassy in Toronto and get a license verification letter. In your case I would suggest to take your both, old and new driver's license and get a letter of verification for each one of them. If you have these two verification letters I am hopeful that it will be accepted as valid driving experience. The risk is that Pakistan embassy may not issue you a letter for the expired license and might say that not official means fake. In that case you will have to go through waiting period but I don't see any other way forward.
