driving license experience letter from karachi

Hi guys
I know there are posts around driving license noc/experience letter, but I couldn't find concrete information for getting this from Karachi. Has anyone done it? If yes, where should I get it from and what is it called. Also, do I need to get it attested somewhere before it becomes admissible.

One of our Brother SHAMS has replied me, I am pasting below his reply


"If you go to Clifton DL office, get in touch with any tarffic police wala or any agent ask them you need NOC of DL they all know. They should charge you max 300-500 not more then that at all. DL office has format in there computer they will print out and stamp / sign by DSP and job is over.

Yes if original liscence is of both ask for both there shouldn't be any prob.

No there is No need, If y you are going to Toronto, they will simply accept the letter issued by Karachi Traffic POlice on their letterhead. If you are going to Alberta, then they will ask you to get this letter verified by Pakistan embassy and then submit to concerned license issuing office in Alberta.

Yes I have seen few posts here where this is done, I think the procedure is failry simple, you need to send the original by mail / courier to Pak embassy along with the applicable fee and with in 2-3 weeks they return it back with verification via mail.
