Driving a US plates car into Canada

I will be driving to Canada on vacation for a week. Should I need a "special" permit to get in with my car and drive on Canadian highways?

Nope! US cars are generally road legal in Canada for up to (I think) 6 months. I have a CT plate and I've driven into Canada and back twice this summer already.

Make sure you have valid insurance for your car. It’s a legal requirement in Canada.
