Drivers license Query

Hi guys so my application was sent to CIC. On the 19th it was received according to FedEx. No AOR yet.

I included my G1 license as an ID. I am now going to take my G2 end of March. Does anyone know if my G1 gets taken away? Or if my G1 number will be the same number as G2?

Or if any of this will cause a problem?

Should I send a copy of the new license to them once I get it??

So many questions sorry, would appreciate advice

You driver's licence number will remain the same; the expiring date as well. only difference will be issue date and class.
no need to worry and no need to send them a copy of the new class licence.

When you go your test/interview, they will make a copy of the new license.
