Draw has most likely already taken place and now CIC may need to ensure whether to issue ITA to people just about there under the normal CEC pre EE program or not. They would like to make sure that they issue the max number of ITAs and not subsume some due to those who are just about there under CEC. So the results could be delayed for several weeks I assume.

I dont think draw has already taken place. If they have done already, then the tweet from CIC should not use the word "Will be". The tweet came 7hrs before this post. Secondly, they have to publish the Ministerial instruction into Public Domain, like in CIC website or Canada Gazette, before making the draw. I know everyone is so much curious about the draw...nobody knows except Chris Alexander. My guess is it will be on 31st of Jan.

check this out i believe that could be a legitimate reason ..for drawn un unannounced or delayed.

What do you mean by CEC pre EE? Please decipher what you mean.

One person submitted their EE profile and received the same confirmation message the rest of us did.
