That is of course..unless factions like this one below who have already started contacting MPs etc and drumming up this petition succeed in influencing the process so pre-PR time is not erased.

What the? What does this have to do with my post. I can still stay in Canada as PR, infact I want to give birth to my children first so that they will have dual citizenship! I am in no rush.

I didn't interpret the comment negatively at all. As I suggested, it was a humorous take on the increasing difficulty to get Canadian citizenship, and not a slight against your eligibility. The problem with written communication is not being able to see the smile or hear the tone. All the best.
