Draftsman Jobsearch - Winnipeg

Hi guys,

Just came here about a month ago and I'm having a hard time looking for a job,


I am a Registered Architect in the philippines, and I want to work here in Winnipeg as a draftsman,

I've already finished my Entry program and Employability skills training at Manitoba Start,

but I need some canadian experience first to add on my credentials as well as to have a plus for employers.

Is someone here knows an organization who hires for a internship or volunteer draftsman?

or if there's a full time job, much better for me,

I am also 2253 Drafting technologist Waiting for PR visa i will be landing in Canada, Vancouver in sep.2012 . i think you should go to Calgary bc they need more engineers and draftsmans could you give me your number and email and lets see what can i do for you.

Congrats you made it from the long process,

yah your right, calgary has more job opportunities on my field than winnipeg, and I heard vancouver too, hope you could get a job immediately there. I can't move to other province because it might affect my sponsors credibility.

i am an indian citizen and have done diploma in mech engineering and worked as draftsman engineer in oil rig offshore design in 2 yrs in india and 3 yrs in singapore. i looking to apply for PR under FSWP.

Please advise which category in NOC list wud be perfect for me.
