Could be possible but not in all cases it may be isolated. I was mainly talking about Buffalo office and I am not sure how long it takes from other visa offices. If your documents are all int he row and you get a passport request, usually from Buffalo it takes 2 to 4 months to issue visa, other cases are exceptional.

hi everyone!
I did send them the e-mail and was expecting a reply within 48 hrs thats what i was been told, but finally received a reply after one an a half week but it was worth waiting as they asked us to submit the passports. So therefore last Thursday we went personally to submit the passports at CIC London, the service over there was very very fast, at least CIC is working efficiently at some point. They told me to come and collect them after two weeks well lets see.
