I read that if I am living in one of the pilot countries, then the application would be processed in one year along with the dependants, is that so?

can persons share their timelines please?

Hi

I think we are in a very similar situation. Unfortunately, I haven’t found anyone in the internet who were part of this pilot program and have finished their process. Btw, this is my current timeline (I’m the overseas dependant):

June 14, 2024: application submitted via website
August 16, 2024: -my spouse received biometrics request letter and the DR2 pilot program letter
-I received the dependants documents checklist
August 21, 2024: I sent via website my Police certificate and the biometrics fee payment
October 1, 2024: I received the biometrics request letter
October 2, 2024: I made my biometrics

Since then, nothing more. The only thing we can do now is to wait. My spouse talked to a Lawyer and he said this process would take around a year, so I think is too early to get anxious, but here we are

Did you resubmit the forms as well with other docs?

No I didn’t. Since the checklist letter asked me to do not resubmit any information unless I had to update details from the forms we submitted before (which it wasn’t my case), so I didn’t find necessary to do it.

I think if I did a mistake they’d had contacted me already to correct it.

Yeah. Someone I know also got the Checklist under this program and he decided not to submit the forms since there were no major updates.
