Dr Martin Taylor in Toronto

Hi all,

I just booked an appointment for my upfront medicals with Dr Martin Taylor at 3300 Bloor Street West - they offered me an appointment tomorrow, so it is fast to say the least! However I just noticed on their website that they say they send the results to CIC by mail - I assume they don't have e-medicals. Has anybody seen this doctor in Toronto? Do you know how long it takes them to send the results? I am wondering if I should just book another appointment with another doctor that offers e-medicals (like Dr Lyndon Mascarenhas), appt would probably not be tomorrow but results could be uploaded faster...

(I did do some research on this forum with 'Dr Martin Taylor' but it seems that there was another doctor with this name previously located at 100 Richmond St West - unsure if this is the same doctor that relocated or another one with the same name!)

Why don't you try for Francis Li near Pape Subway station.

Dude does emedicals and its pretty ok there...260 bucks and everything will be done in 2 hours and no prior appointments....

Well it's exactly because they do not offer appointments that I am not going there. I'd rather book a proper appointment and hopefully not wait 2 hours.... I've heard bad reviews from this place too.

Well totally up to you!

I agree his clinic is disorganized with the receptionists screaming and yelling ,but it was not that bad..I personally got mine done from their and even though they was chaos they were helpful and as I mentioned I didn't need any appointment since I planned to reach their early in the morning. I also did not have any wait time..within 2 hours everything was all fine and dandy...

Overall I would say his clinic is helpful and they are not that bad... you can also check for some places in Scarborough ...nt very sure about other locations in downtown...All the best!!

Thank you for the info! You didn't have to call at all before going there? Did you have to bring a passport size photo?

I may do that... Hopefully they accept to do upfront medicals. What time do they open?

Nope no prior calls or appointments necessary...

I did bring passport size photos but for emedicals they don't need it coz they take your photo there using a camera which is fed into the on-line application.

They do accept upfront medicals and all you need is two pieces of ID .. Passport should actually be more than sufficient but you can carry one more id like drivers license.

So when they do you medicals they will check your UCI number and attach your results to the UCI number.

Results should be available for pick up in 14 days and 21 days by mail.

I collected my results in 14 days . If there are any anomalies in your result they will call you so if you don't hear anything from them within 14 days you needn't worry...

The office of Lyndon Mascarenhas emailed me back and offered me an appointment in two days so I think I am gonna go with them.

Its weird though because they're asking for a passport photo as well even though they do e-medicals. I wonder why they ask for that and not Francis Li.

Anyway! Hoping the results will be uploaded fast enough, I will let you guys know!
