Mirza

We are getting the final assesment on Sunday and still dont know if we would be accpeted or rejected.

Hello All,

yesterday I got the Psycological tests done for my daughter. The pycologist seemed very pleased with the perfromance and when I asked her, after the assesment, how likely is it that she will clear the immigration requirements, she replied " Highly Likely". I understand that she is not the Immigration Officer, she cannot decide this. But one lives on hope and her replies are very encouraging. Will get the final report by end of this week and will straight away send it. Let us see from then on how long it will take.

Thank you all for your support.

Hi mirza897 i just want to ask you. is there a possibility that a 19 year old with down syndrome be a permanent resident in Canada? she can walk and talk but she can only write her name and birthdate.

I would expect problems with the immigration application since the child will never be able to function independently as an adult.

Good afternoon,

I am married with a Canadian and I have a Down Syndrome girl who is 11 years old.
She doesn't have any physical disability and she is currently studying in a normal school with a very good development. She doesn't have any illness. We want to get our residence to be able to live in Canada with my husband.

Is it possible that we don't get the visa?

Thanks for any answer

I assume that you didn't see the content of the psychological test yourself but since your daughter did well in the test, she must have done most of it correctly. Did she share with you what the test looks like? Is it like a multiple choice IQ test? Just my curiosity. Thanks.
