DOUBTS? "Can I 'Land' anywhere" matter -Which POE to Choose !!!

Dear Qorax,

Help urgently wanted...............plssssss........

i got my medical forms in feb, 2012 from CHC london. I have applied under FSW. i mentioned Toronto(Ontario) as my landing destination previously. I also applied for my CAIPS notes and according to the Caips notes they have entered seldec entered and they have entered my landing destination as toronto already.

Along with the medical forms they have instructed to submit RPRF for myself n my spouse, Updated forms and original PCC for both of us...when i was updating...........i changed my landing destination from Toronto to Calgary(Alberta).......Pls reply me that will it hurt the processing of my case further??or is it ok?

i read another forum in reply to my query that this step of mine could have delay my case processing time..so quorax pls help me...

As long as you didn't apply as a Provincial Nominee, you can "land" anywhere except Quebec. (You can "land" there, but have to show onward transportation) You don't have to inform CHC of your change of plans.

Seniors-

I need a quick clarification. As a PNP-Quebec more specifically-one cannot do the landing anywhere else but province where they were nominated? I am still far from getting my visa but when I do, I plan on driving (live in the US) and the 1st port of entry will be Ontario (detroit border). So will i not be able to do my landing there? I plan on resting before continuing on to Montreal. Please advise. Thanks.

I have been accepted for a job in Vancouver

Hello Qorax,

I have done my medicals last October. Still waiting for my PR visa (London vo). In my application ON is my
destination but now I wanna go to Vancouver cus I have been accepted in a job in Vancouver. Now, If I sent
to VO the job offer would this speed up my visa? My new manager to be is asking me to come in the middle of May
and I'm worried that if I m delayed I'll lose the offer!

Would appreciate your kind help to advise.

Should it be the items we will carry with us or the items that will follow on later? Am I right that the item list include electronic items, jewellery, clothes, watches? Which items need to be photographed?

I intend landing in Vancouver soon though I want to settle in Calgary for the following reason

My wife is pregnant and her sister lives in Vancouver. We want to land so as to avoid adding another baby to our application after the medicals.Secondly, I intend coming back to pick my children and resigning from my job.

How do I go about this
