Hello guys, recently i am preparing CEC application and I have some doubts on the documents.

Here is my situation: I came to Canada to work for almost two years under a NOC A job, and my husband came to accompany me three months after my arrival. For the first year he was holding a visitor record, and after my renewal last year he is also holding an open work permit and now is doing a part-time job (not in 0, A or B). When we are preparing the documents as per the checklist, there are some points that we are not sure of. So guys please give some advice:

1. The passport. I know that both of us need to provide the copies of photo pages. But do we also need to provide other pages such as pages with Canada visas, with other countries' visas or with stamps given by boarders. Or only the photo page with personal information is necessary?

2. As principle applicant, I need to provide my work permits, T4A, NOA etc. As my husband is now also working in Canada, does he have to provide these documents as well?

Things I mentioned above are not listed in the checklist but I heard it's better to provide full complete documents of applicants. However I think it's better to only provide the documents that are required. Too much paperwork may confuse the VO...

Suggestions are very appreciated. Thanks!

2. As principle applicant, I need to provide my work permits, T4A, NOA etc. As my husband is now also working in Canada, does he have to provide these documents as well? Not mandatory, but no harm in sending.

Things I mentioned above are not listed in the checklist but I heard it's better to provide full complete documents of applicants. However I think it's better to only provide the documents that are required. Too much paperwork may confuse the VO... The documents you have mentioned are pretty straight forward, I don't think it will confuse the VO.
Good Luck for you PR process.

Suggestions are very appreciated. Thanks!

ur husband don't have to provide any of those( don't get the VO confused, focus on the documents checklist), ur the principle applicant and must provide all the required documents

you need to submit the bio page, that is the one with your picture and personal info AND ALL the pages containing any additional visa, seal, comment or notation for both you and your housband

2. As principle applicant, I need to provide my work permits, T4A, NOA etc. As my husband is now also working in Canada, does he have to provide these documents as well?
No need to send his documents but make sure he fills and sign IMM5669 & 5406 , that is BACKGROUND AND FAMILY

Things I mentioned above are not listed in the checklist but I heard it's better to provide full complete documents of applicants. However I think it's better to only provide the documents that are required. Too much paperwork may confuse the VO...
You are right only provide what it is required

Suggestions are very appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you so much guys...

Now I see two different opinions... one supports to provide more and two disapprove...

Getting more confused now...Any confirmed idea from more seniors?

If you want to do it right, give cic what they have asked for and follow the checklist. If you do this, no need to worry.

Thanks jsm0085. I will strictly follow the checklist then.
