Doubt with ECA on WES for IRCC

Hello Folks,

I have a bachelors degree from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai and a Masters degree from National College of Ireland. Do I need to provide WES with both my Masters degree as well as my Bachelor degree ? I'm really confused.

Kindly recommend what should I do.

You can apply for ECA for your Masters degree only. If you get an equivalency of a Masters degree, then that alone should do as the highest degree matters in this process.

Have you successfully got your Master's with NCI evaluated through WES, am stuck on a similar doubt! & if WES has got you evaluated does it shows as 4 years of degree education?

This was the email I received from WES:

Dear Rohan DSOUZA,

You recently applied for a WES Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). We will proceed with your ECA based on the highest recognized educational credential submitted as part of your application. When we complete your ECA report, it will be electronically accessible by IRCC. This process will minimize delays to your Express Entry application.

Please note: You may request an updated ECA report that includes assessment of all credentials included in your application for assessment. The update will be made at no charge. Please keep your WES reference number available, so that you can request an update if you need one.

Thank you for choosing WES for your Educational Credential Assessment.

Hence, they did the ESA only for my Master's degree and not my Bachelor's degree. I just send the docs required for my Master's degree and I'm sorted now.

Thank you for your inputs Rohan, I was looking to understand the result of ECA evaluation for a master's degree from NCI. How long has it been since your application to WES? And, how much is the estimated processing time? It's clear for me now though that sending the master's degree from NCI will only make sense than sending any other back dated degrees that may not matter.

So NCI sent documents to WES electronically. My ECA is long done, got done within 20 days of opening the WES account. NCI took about a week to send the docs electronically to WES.

One last request, can you please send me a brief process for sending academic transcripts from NCI To IRCC, Canada and how much does it cost?. I am unable to get this information off NCI website and want to get this process completed from my end as soon as possible.
