Hi

Current status: AINP approved. Applied for PR. Waiting for medical.

Doubt:
Along with my PR application, i had submitted my PCC from Edmonton Police Service. Before coming to Canada, i was in India. I have a PCC issued from India which i got just before leaving India. This PCC has "Date of issue" as Dec 2011, but does not indicate any validity or expiry. I haven't mailed this Indian PCC to CIC along with my PR application. If CIC asks for an Indian PCC, can i submit this PCC which was issued in Dec 2011 or do i need to get a newly issued PCC from India? I have this doubt because i heard from someone that PCC is generally valid for only a year.

I would just get a new PCC from India to avoid delays. I guess you can already get it now from India, as you are already out of the country.
