In Schedule 1 Background/declaration form. I have a doubt filling out below field

been refused admission to, or ordered to leave Canada or any other country

Actually my student visa(F1) for US is rejected thrice after completion of my graduation in 2005 i.e., on Dec 2005, Jan 2006 and June 2006. So do I need to mention the same in this field.

If I need to fillup, could anyone writeup a justifying statement for me. In my last attempt for student visa, visa officer told me that they are treating me as potential immigrant and refusing the visa.

So how should I frame a convincing statement out of this. do I need to specify the rejection dates too, as they have stamped on backside of my passport.

Thanks in advance :)

my suggestion is not to hide anything and list down the previous rejections. provide the reason for rejection and maybe you can also provide the dates when rejections happened. i dont think this will harm your canadian immigration, but better not to hide anything.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I too thought the same and I want to mention it. Can I do write this way..

My student visa (F1) for USA has been rejected thrice on date1, date2 and date3. I wanted to pursue Masters in Computer Science after completion of my graduation in engineering and applied to USA. I was able to get admissions into four universities, but unfortunately I couldn't convince the visa officer that I will be returning back after completion my studies. During my last interview, visa officer told me that they are treating as potential immigrant and refused the visa.

Hi Sundeep38,

Did you mention in the schedule background declaration form that you have been rejected for US F1 visa 3 times...Do you think that it will have a negative effect or will be the cause for rejection on Canadian immigration application.

I have been rejected for US F1 student visa in India 4 times. I don't know if they will reject my application. Should I mention/should I hide.
If I don't mention it, how can they find it? Do you think they will have access to US refusal records....

What do you suggest? You must have consulted other people and forums before you filled your application. And do you think if I mention that I have been refused a US F1 visa, they will try to know from US visa office what was the reason for rejection?

Please help!!!!!!!!

Hi,

I dont know whether they check with US visa office or not, but I have my rejection stamps on my last page of passport. So anyways they get to know.

I still didn't send the application. I'll send it be next weekend. But I wanted to mention it in the application coz its student visa which has been rejected so I shouldnt be any problem I guess.

Am still awaiting reply from seniors here on this, to compose much more convincing statement.

Looks fine not a problem. Do not worry just be honest while filling the application.
