Doubt about RAMQ Feb 2020 Inland+OWP Quebec Sponsorship

Hi everyone..

We have a doubt. We are doing the Sponsorship Inland Quebec process. And we want to know at what point I can apply for RAMQ coverage. At the moment I have a medical expenses insurance contracted in Mexico. My husband is Canadian by birth, I don't know if this has anything to do with the process.

We have already received the AOR and I have the OWP linked to my GCKey account.

Hi,
So you need to get your work permit first. some open work permits make you eligible for RAMQ coverage without even have a job offer, in other cases that your OWP is not eligible you need a job offer in Quebec. Also as part of the sponsorship program, you need to apply for CSQ. as soon as you get your CSQ, if you hold a valid permit in Canada, it makes you eligible until the validity of your permit.

My wife is in same situation. I am on study permit and she is on OWP and self-employed doing freelancing on fiverr etc. Is she can get RAMQ. What is the procedure to get RAMQ for her. We arrived two months ago.
