Dose an Indian student need medical for travelling Saudi to Canada

Hello,

I am in Indian residing in Saudi Arabia since 2 years continuously and have got my study visa for Canada recently.
I wasn't asked to submit any medical report with my application. I am planning to travel to Canada within one month.

On the travel.gc.ca website under https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/answers/foreign-non-us-student it says medical report must not be expired but on another page https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/medical-exams/requirements-temporary-residents/country-requirements.html it says the medical report is not required.

Should i get my medical done or is that not necessary in my case?

Just need to know, since I reside in saudi arabia itself, I have filled my application from saudi only. I got rejection on my visa 1 month back. what all documents have you submitted to ircc riyadh. If you could answer this, really appreciate it.

Hey sam,

I am sorry to hear that. You should try again .
In my case i submitted financial documents prepared by CA from india and bank statements from Saudi , employment history like job offer and exp cert and a strong SOP.
Hope this helps.

Do you have your personal assets from back home which you mentioned in the CA certificate? What all did you mention on it? I mean cash, properties etc?

yeas had to mention them. Approach a CA , they will guide you better on how and what details are to be mentioned.
